It’s certainly a worthy candidate for Free Pascal compiler. But I wish they will go farther by modernizing the language as well. Free Pascal is stuck in the old ages with no list comprehension, lamda or map&reduce. Also parallel and async execution could get a great deal of support to make the language really productive and modern, without sacrificing the famous good readability of Pascal.
